Public School in Michigan USA, and it was taught as an "alternative supported by science" but in the end it was no less factual than any other topic in Biology class.

Sweden; taught a bunch of facts of evolution AND the Darwinian theory of evolution in science class. Then also taught a bunch of religious systems and assertions about the origin of everything, in various religions, in religion class. They weren't pitted against each other as if it was some kind of contest after all.

But for the intentions of the OP, we can say I was taught evolution as a "fact", since that's probably closest to what he's driving at with his questions.

As a theory, in college the lecturers spoke of it as factual
