The horus part it's talking about a "baptism". What baptism are they talking about? Horus, baptized? Never heard of anything like that. I would like that someone could explain what they are talking about to me

Interesting isn't it? This really isn't something new...there have always been connections and similarities between ancient pagan Gods and Jesus.

Both sides of that can be argued to that list.
My favorite being the immaculate conception.
The whole virgin birth with Mary could take hours for me to break down, but Isis raised Osiris from the dead to do the dirty.
So no virgin birth there.
All of the old faiths are seemingly cut from the same cloth.

All of the old faiths are seemingly cut from the same cloth. | You appear to being fusing two different concepts into one.
Immaculate conception means that Mary was conceived without the stain of original sin.
Virgin birth refers to Jesus being born of the holy spirit without Mary having known a man.

I found the video to be well done despite it's dilettante approach to mythological scholarship. The video was on the same level as teaching children about George Washington and the Cherry Tree. A nice story with a nice moral but sloppy scholarship. I really don't have a problem with that. One must start somewhere. Perhaps some day our very own Historybuff7 will tackle the theme. I have a hunch he can give the theme the justice it deserves.
