Imagine for a moment if there was this entier economic system whose central focus was CAPITAL!!!

Not social equity, not social well being, not brotherly love.

Imagine for a moment if all economic decisions were decided based on MONEY!!!

Not what is right, not what is good.

Ehhhhhhh. I still say economics are amoral.

Why, in your opinion, is morality involved in economics?

Because economic decisions directly impact the well being of our planet and society.

No I am not a socialist. I understand the logic behind capitalism, but that doesn't mean the principles are automatically compatible with Jesus' teachings.

I would agree they can be. My father for example is a business owner and a Christian. His central focus is serving our customers and having happy employees. Money does not come first, it is a means to an end.

It's all about perspective, focus, and what drives individuals to achieve, in my opinion.

I see. Tell me more about your economic beliefs. Keynesian? Supply-Side?
