What about the racism exhibited by Mexican citizens, towards Gautemalans or El Salvadorians? I have seen that first hand, and it is ripe.

Basically, your last sentence is what I agree with however. It is a problem everywhere, and in some places, it is worse than others. Sometimes it can be hard to live around those that have a different culture than you.

At the the OP: when you say non-American, what exactly do you mean? There are Americans of probably every ethnicity and nationality on the planet.

If racism in America equates to, "the White Man is keeping me down" then no, it isn't a problem and doesn't really even exist.

If racism equates to certain people of all races and socio-economic backgrounds, holding stereotypes and hateful attitudes towards people of races other than their own, then yes, it exists. But I still wouldn't consider it a serious problem.

There are no Americans of other nationalities, excusing those with dual nationalities, but the great majority of Americans be they white, black, Asian or hispanic are Americans.

Of course, you're right. I just meant that we have people, and their ancestors, that come from probably every area or country in the world.

Interstingly my family background is comprised primarily of countries that took shots (arrow or lead) at English soldiers for the last thousand years...
