Hello, i have bee wondering, and if Rome ever began a campaign on America? There are 11 eleven legions under the command of a great general, that knows what ground is suitable for battle, when to fight and how, he understands military tactics. He also have more 20 generals, one for each legion. The America, is between the year 1750. How much time would it take to completer the conquest? Would the romans suffer great defeats, what would the native americans do, what would the romans do? Who would be victorious?

They would not be able to do it.
A major problem would be resources, both food and manpower wise.

i suppose the battles would be similar to the ones agains the Parthians...ie with the native americans using horse bowman and similar....Also supplies would be a major issue... They wouldnt know how to scavange( what is poisonous etc) and there would be no reinforcements

Well the natives wouldn't have horses. They didn't have those until the Europeans arrived, I believe.
