I don't really see the features in the "gods of homer" picture, can you point them out?

Maybe I'm just a grouch with no imagination, but I can't seem to make out any clear features on any of these pictures...

I can sort of see the misinterpretations on the first picture, but not so much on the second.

In the first pic, I guess that big noses, big lips, and curly hair means African. Seems almost stereotypical and anti-productive a little, don't you think?
