Community is based on consensus and consensus is founded on unity. Multiculturalism has always refused to see this and this will be the nail on the coffin of the USA.

I am pro-American but long before China could fail the US will have burst from the centrifugal forces brought about by losing its European and Christian history, values and peoples. It has already lost within only three decades almost its entire southwest to Latin America and, incapable as this superpower is from protecting its own home border against illegal immigrants, the multicultural centrifugal forces are becoming stronger by the year. It is a deliberate decision of White America to abolish itself and become a minority in its own country and this is going to happen according to recent demographics within the next generation.
The 21st century will belong to Austria!

Hehe. Felix Austria actually suffers from the very same lack of confidence in its values and history and the same self-destructive multiculturalist mode of thinking (although it is less impotent than the US to protect its borders). It does not know its own identity anymore but believes its identity is the world. With the consequence that immigrant minorities begin to dictate the terms - as in the US is already long the case (affirmative action etc.).

The final solution is for the ever-shrinking pool of fearful bigots to inbreed themselves out of existence.

I think the 21. and indeed the following maybe 4 centuries belong to the USA. Just as Rome won the "world" 2000 years ago. The parallels are too obvious to be overlooked!

I quite gree with these blog-views:

Polybios: We're all living in America!

Polybios: The American presidential election

World power

To be more precise:

World power does not depend on population, not on army size, not on GDP and not even on technological military development. Populations can be peaceful, a big army can be inefficient like the ancient Persians against the Greeks. Technology does not matter without will to power.

And in the Mediterranean world around the birth of Christ the GDP of the losning Hellenistic states was no doubt far above that of winning Rome. I think the same is true for the GDP of the winning Qin state compared to the losning other Chinese states in the Warring States Period.

Military dominance of the world depends on army and technology, yes, but also on martial mentality, brutality and will to power. In these respects the USA is a clear winner!

Cultural dominance depends on the cultural "radiance" and appeal to the rest of the world. This is more an empirical question. Everything points to a very dominating USA. Even China is dominated culturally by the Americans.

China is no doubt the most dominant Asian country as of now. They are trying to flex their muscles and drive out the American armed forces from their sphere of influence in North East Asia.

China understands that it is not as powerful as the US and is making its global investments very carefully. Which I think is a very good move and will provide handsome dividends in the future.

I don't think the Chinese want to be as powerful and wasteful as the US.

They have elected a new Premier and provided the new government can take care of the internal issues bugging China I am sure we will see it progressing further.
