WWIII scenario

Okay, this type of thread has probable been done before, but I'll try to go for a new angle.

First of all,no nuclear weapons of any kind.Only conventional weapons.

In this scenario America and Great Britain go against all the other important powers. Those are:

-France
-Germany
-Spain
-Italy
-Russia
-Canada
-Brazil
-India
-China
-Japan

Now,I know it's highly unlikely that those 10 agree with each other, let alone agree to team-up vs America & Britain, but indulge me.It should be assumed that Britain has a fall out with her colonies, and they no longer accept her nominal rule.

Those are main participants. Now,there are so-called "helpers",a less powerful countries, but who are nevertheless regional powers,or semi-powers.They support either America or Allies, according to their own geo-political situation and national interests. For example,Turkey would obviously in such a scenario help America, since she has been Turkey's greatest ally these past decaded.Similarly,Argentine would also support U.S,but not out of "love",but out of animosity toward Brazil, and the wish to be dominant South American power instead.South Korea would support U.S. while the North would support Allies.Saudi Arabia,Venezuela,Cuba,Mexico and Vietnam would go for Aliies. You can determine the loyalties of rest of them on your own.

Notable neutrals:Australia,Pakistan.

1)Who would win?
2)How long would the war last?
3)How would it play out?
4)What would be the casualty list?

Assume that it's a total war scenario(BUT without nulear weapon),akin to WWII.

This is a strange scenario, indeed... Well, if Canada and Mexico have turned on America, we have a big disadvantage because we have two huge borders on opposite sides to protect. The way i see it, Russia and China would send huge numbers of troops to attack us from the north, while Brazil and Mexico would try to distract us to the south. I doubt Earl and his mates could do much for us because Spain, Italy, France and Germany would surround the island. The Japanese would, no doubt, hit our communication networks and Internet.

It wouldn't be hard to neutralize India, though, by forming an alliance with Pakistan. Those two would take care of one another, just as the Koreas and Argentina and Venezuela would.

Given the circumstances, it would be best to defend as we would be outnumbered. The first thing to do would be to mine, boobytrap and block the borders. We still have the advantage at sea, so we would deploy a few of the carriers to eliminate the troops coming to Canada before they reach there. The ones that get through will cause us problems, but taking out the Canadian command center would be fairly simple, so they would have trouble organizing themselves. We still have some very powerful missiles and our satilites could enable us to easily take out armies in Mexico and Canada. Eventually it would be best to take over Canada to eliminate the north threat and focus on the south. After that we could go on the offensive to save England once again...

Stalemate. No one is going to beat the US military in North America, and the US probably wouldn't be able to focus enough power to force anything in Europe or Asia.

South Korea and Turkey are probably up the creek though, and the UK isn't in for a fun time of it.

Canada and Mexico are going to get thoroughly thrashed though.

Well I'm glad we get to be neutral in this silly little war.

After you guys trash each other, then Australia comes out unscathed and In Charge.

I can't help thinking that while the US is busy defending themselves, Indonesia would make its move and attack Australia, knowing the the US wouldn't be able to honour the ANZUS treaty. Thankfully we have New Zealand

With all the major powers fighting one another it would become a lawless world. pirates would run a muck, seizing everything from cargo to passenger ships. All the major currencies might become worthless, making gold and silver the only acceptable money, so I doubt anyone would come out unscathed. Australia could become a bargaining chip.

Thats very unlikely. Indonesia is crumbling from inside. Probably some separatist movement will use this advantage to break free. Besides, our military equipment is literally crap.

If Indonesia is going to attack, it will attack Singapore then Malaysia before going to Australia.
