America's legacy

There have been many civilizations crumble throughout history and I found myself wondering what the memory of America would be should tht happen to us. Would history be kind to us? Some say we are on our downfall as we speak. Disregard reasons for why America ceased to exist but if tomorrow it was gone.

I'm askin more of people to take away their presentism biases and implement an imagined future presentism bias. Like a somber sober historical view of America about say 100 years after its existence

Thats really difficult to do isn't it, because it will all depend on who's writing the view 100 years from now.

It will be so plainly obvious to a Historian in the future to see what caused
our downfall, much like today so many quickly jump on figures of the
past and say, "why didn't they just....." That is because they lived it and we
get to read about it. Playing quarterback is always easier from the recliner.
The US should be remembered for a lot of good things that it helped spread around the world.
