what would happen if, during World War II, Brazil joins the Axis Powers, either of its own accord or after being contacted by the Axis leaders? would they attempt to invade the US? would they send reinforcements to europe or the pacific?

Not quite sure what you mean Royal Avenger, could you elaborate. I think it would have just added an extra dynamic that would have ended in the same conclusion.

I think they would have attacked many British controlled Islands like St Helena etc on the west coast of Africa. They also could have sent reinforcements to Europe and attacked American shipping.

They'd not fought a war for decades, their armed forces were woefully out of date, (think Boer War era) and it took the allies 2 years to get their forces into any shape to fight a modern war (1939-45). Germany allying with Austria-Hungary in WW1 has been described as "being shackled to a corpse". Brazil would have had the same effect in WW2. The allies would have rolled around the floor laughing their socks off, got up, dried their eyes, put a naval picket of a few frigates out to keep an eye on them and to prevent either German or Japanese supplies/advisors getting through and just got on with the war. Brazil had a minimal impact in the allied side, what makes you think their contribution would have been greater fighting for the Axis?

I don't know anything about it, just that it did happen.

Brazil send 25,000 man to fight in Europe against the nazis, they were under the command of general Mark Clark, and fought in the Italian campaing.
Two unites of Brazilian airforce were send to Italy also. This made Brazil the only South American country to send troops overseas.
Brazilian army achieved battlefield success in Massarosa, Camaiore, Monte Prano, Monte Acuto, San Quirico, Gallicano, Barga, Monte Castello, La Serra, Castelnuovo, Soprassasso, Montese, Paravento, Zocca, Marano su Panaro, Collecchio and Fornovo.
By the way Brazil took around 20,000 german prisoners, and lost no more then 1000 brazilian troops, to say that Brazil military was woefully and out of date in world war 2, is a silly thing to say.

If Brazil joins the Axis;
Germany can base U-boats and surface raiders in Brazilian ports and, er, that's about it. The Battle of the River Plate demonstrates what happens when Kreigsmarine surface ships get cornered in South American ports. The U-boats may have greater success but they're still a long way from the main supply routes in the North Atlantic.
Brazil could not have sent troops overseas to aid the axis powers because they had insufficient control of the sea to either ship the troops or re-supply them.
Taking possession of the Allies' south-Atlantic islands simply dooms those troops sent to starvation.
Germany has no aircraft capable of reaching Brazil directly from Europe or Africa, even if they did, they're not going to be able to attack the US.
Brazil joining the Allies works because the Allies have sufficient control of the sea for Brazilian troops to be shipped to Italy and the US has sufficient reserves to equip and supply them in combat.
