Alexander's Best Campaign


What campaign shows Alexander the Great at his best in your opinion ?

One of main candidates would be Bactrian and Sogdian campaign ( 329 - 327 BC ) in my opinion.

I'm sort of thinking he only had 2. One in Greece and one in Asia.

His campaigns can be usually divided in Balkan campaign ( 335 BC ) , campaign in Minor Asia , campaign in Levant , campaign in Persia ( heartland of Persia ) , Bactrian and Sogdian campaign , Indian campaign.

He means on a smaller basis.

My favorite at the moment is his Balkan campaign. In terms of greatest? His later campaigns are a lot more interesting.
