Which armor in the video's are you speaking about?
The armor wore by the elite were silk fabrics padded together, much like nylon vests wore by commandos today.

The costume and armor used by the elites were much different than the common soldiers.

But indigenous Hindu kingdoms used plate armor+silk armor, but armor wore by elites and common soldiers varied vastly... A common soldier would probably have no armor on him except a shield..

It depends on when the war was meant to take place.
The earliest Indian chariots had 4 wheels pulled by between four and six horses. The ones in the video look like that are based on Middle Eastern (but not Egyptian) chariots.
Early Indian bows used by infantry are very long, perhaps 6’ like the ones held by the charioteers. According to 4th century BC Greek authors, the bow may have been the principle weapon used by Indian infantry, but I could see none in the video. Nearchos, one of Alexander’s commanders also states that the Indian javelinmen, the second largest unit after bowmen carried shields that were nearly as long as the soldier but not very wide. The ones I the video are round.
Most of the infantry wear metal helmets in the video and this is not the case in early armies.
