Well I'd hardly use him as a username if I didn't think so!

Naomasa298 I am new to this site so I want to ask my own questions, read my own replies that I get, I don't care how many other forums there are on favorite or best generals. The point of this site is to discuss history and if you think it is so stupid that I posted this question then why are you taking your precious time to respond. Thank you to those who have replied so far.

I really didn't see anything in Naomasa's response that really merited that response.

So some years later Britain looks back to see Frederick standing over the fallen enemies, from the brink of defeat to total victory. He just wipes the dust off his pants and lights a cigar and goes home with a group of beautiful women.
And I admire a man that wanted to be buried next to his favorite dog.

I admire two generals that cared for the men under their command and didn't waste soldiers needlessly while still performing spectacularly. I send SoC in Monash and would add Herbert Plumer. He carefully planned and executed the overwhelming victory at Messines in 1917, while not sacrificing his men.

Oh and I have to admire Belisarius for achieving so much with so few resourses.

I'm reading Belisarius: The Last Roman General by Ian Hughes at the moment, interesting stuff; Hughes argues Belisarius had more resources than he's normally credited with.

So yeh, Catherine kills Peter because she is jealous that he loves Frederick more than her (but who wouldn't). So Frederick is sat in study having a mocha with Voltaire when he hears of Catherine. And he is just like "Yeh whatever." So he slaps both Catherine and Maria, puts them in their place, and goes home to observe his art collection. He also realizes that Britain is a bad friend so he deletes them off of his facebook.

So yeh Maria, Catherine, Elizabeth. Frederick makes all the girls go wild to the point where they literally want to kill to have him.
Again, more accurately, Catherine kills Pete when she finds out about Pete’s affair with Freddy and starts getting ready to come over and bitch slap Freddy good style. Freddy wets himself in terror and comes up with the idea of partitioning Poland to pay off the girls from mashing him into a pulp. The girls decide that Freddy’s too much of a wuss and just not worth the effort anymore so they agree and go shopping with all the loot they get from Poland. Relieved, Freddy discovers that in a certain light, greyhounds look rather attractive...
