Did any Anglo Saxon/English Kings rule again or were they all Norman/French/German descent?
Thanks.

No more Anglosaxons. Normans, Plantagenets, Angevins, Yorks, Lancasters (the last 2 are simply branches though), Tudors, Stuarts and a lot of Germans.

Would Haralds sons count as Kings of England? a couple went to Ireland and raided a one I think was locked in the tower.
Legend has it that he had a son born to his wife after his death who lived to an old age as a monk.

No kings, though technically one could consider Edgar Atheling (Prince), the uncrowned successor elected by the London magnates as Duke William approached the city, as the last 'king'?

After Hastings, most inhabitants refused to accept the legitimacy of William's rule. The nobility were originally planning on electing Edwin, the Earl of Mercia to replace Godwinson and continue the fight against William the Bastard. Still, others wanted the seemingly more qualified Edgar Atheling, as you stated, as he supposedly had a strong claim to the throne, being the grandson of Anglo-Saxon king Edmund Ironside.
Of course, once William entered London on Christmas Day, Atheling, Edwin, and Morcar (Earl of Northumbria) capitulated to him.
