I believe D-Day still could have happened, after further advances in Italy, and the use of nukes against Germany. An invasion of Norway and southern France could have helped as well (An invasion of southern France before the northern invasion to draw away German forces).
I think the Soviets would have finished modernizing their Armed Forces, and sooner or later attacked Germany.
Many people say that Barbarossa was Hitler's biggest mistake, but they forget that Communism and Fascism are polar opposites, and a peaceful co-existence between countries that had those two ideologies that were so close to each other was impossible.
