And what was the point then in the removing of these words "The Victory Day of the Red Army over the Kaiser's Germany" from the official name of that "celebration" by the Russian officials in 18 January 2006?

The Battle of Narva/Pskov in 1918 was more of a skirmish. The holiday commemorates the fact that the new army fought the Germans. As for why the name was removed, that was just political reasons.

The name "Spiridon" doesn't sound Swedish, does it?

Wow! The fact! Not the victory!

This fact, btw?

"Post painful and shameful refusal to keep positions, refusal to defend even the Narva line... I'm not even talking about ignoring the orders to destroy everything and everyone at the retreat, not to mention the flight, chaos, armless, helpless, carelessness (...) The Soviet republic has no army."

Lenin. 25.02.1918.

To give the Russian original of Lors' quote"Мы воевать не можем, ибо армия против войны, армия воевать не может. Неделя войны с немцами, перед которыми просто бежали наши войска с 18 по 24 февраля, вполне доказала это". "We cannot fight against the germans, the weak of the from 18th to 23rd with fights against the germans has shown it".
Prawda 27th of february 1918:„Pskow was taken by weak german forces. The town could have withstand, if they had tried to resist.“ (“Псков был занят небольшими силами немцев. Город удалось бы отстоять, если бы было оказано сопротивление”.)

Pavel Dybenk, hero of the Soviet Union, was put on trial for leaving his position. It seems only his bolshewiki wife saved him from execution.
