Nothing beats the German Nazi.
.... they're amongst the favorites in Hollywood, and Indiana Jones speaks about it.

Swiss guards today have been given anti-terrorism training. They also carry the practical, but ungentlemanly H&K submachine gun and SIG Sauer 9mm pistol,
The very idea of the Waffen SS has always terrified me ( snazzy uniforms though.Apparently designed by Hugo Boss)

Okay I will be good and not choose any Greek armies. They are good but not the best. I will admit that.
I will have to choose the United States Armed Forces of the current time. Its special forces are among the best in the world and they alone are bigger than some nations entire standing armies, which is pretty cool and scary at the same time. They also have well trained and equipped and supplied and armed men, and machines, and ships and aircraft and vehicles.
Even thoug alot of people call the US military just a large undisciplined one that has good weapons but cant fight well, I will still put it at the top. Even if it has large numbers of men and woman who are bad fighters, then there still will be hundreds of thousands who are well trained and good fighters, just due to the sheer size of the military. You will always get people who are above and beyond the rest of the group.
They dont just have special forces units, they have specially trained divisions of men who are much better than the average divisions. There is the 1st Infantry Division, the 1st Armoured Division, and the 101st Airborne division. You can guess what each one of these is an expert at. They also have an entire division strength force of Rangers, who are technically special forces. The american army is very disciplined. Most of them anyway. And especially their special forces units such as the Rangers (Shock troops for dangerous parts of the enemies lines and for behind enemy lines missions), the navy seals (seaborn special operations experts), the Green berets, (unconventional warfare specialists), the Reconaisance Marines (Special recon missions and probing of enemy lines and the spotting of enemy formations), and Delta force (counter terrorism specialists, finding special person targets, rescue missions), Airforce commandos (Defence of important airforce assets, airfield defence, protection of airforce VIP's, rescue of downed pilots.). These are all examples of well disciplined elite units. There are many armored tank divisions that have excellent tanks and well trained battle tested crews supported by well trained infantry. And many infantry divisions who are experienced from recent wars and well trained.

Always partial to the Zouaves of the French army and the ACW | It is rather rarely known fact, the equipment of one winged hussar cost as much as the equipment of the whole infantry regiment of that time. Winged husars were wearing diamons, tiger and leopard pelts, expensive armours with additional apparels. Somtimes they were even painting their horses with the red and white strips. I dont think that there was ever cavalry looking better than this or with similar achievements on the battlefield.
