Victorious Generals


In history, there has very few examples of generals who had never lost a battle. Alexander the Great & Han Xin of Han China comes to mind.

Are there any others and why do you think these particular commanders were so successful.

If a general never lost a battle one could ask did he face any real enemies. I think generals that did lose battles but eventually won the war are the most succesful.
