Abandoned/Destroyed Tanks Eastern Front.

Mostly Russian. There are a lot of stories associated with these. Just wanted to share.

Excellent photos. I see the ubiquitous T34 is well represented, but there is also a British Matilda and an American Grant.

I liked the one with the German 88 sitting next to the KV. I guess the 88 crew was using it for cover or so it would seem.

In another there is apparently some German tanks in a ditch, MK 3s?

I also noticed the makeshift camo on the T-34 in the first picture the white paint on the sides of the turret.

In the photo with the 88, i think its the 88 thats been destroyed, those look like Soviet Soviet troops on the tank, which looks undamaged.

I think the are Pz III's, but those two turrets, which look to be on the ground, look like T-34 turrets.

Definitely two t34s either hull down or got stuck in an anti-tank ditch and a Pz3 behind it, the one on its roof looks to have a solid single disc drive wheel so it could be a Pz2, the 2b had six wheels and return wheels but it looks to be too big for a Pz2.
