Question Outcome of Danish-Prussian War and Austro-Prussian War

I have a question about the outcome of the Danish-Prussian and Austro-Prussian Wars. After von Bismarck had successfully taken Holstein and Schleswig, why did he not proceed to take over the rest of Denmark and Austria? I viewed a map and there didn't seem to be any geographical barriers between Prussia-Germany and Denmark. Plus after the addition of the Southern German Confederation, Prussia-Germany was in a prime strategic position to launch an invasion on Austria. Are there details I am overlooking or am i just being a little aggressive?

They needed a buffer-zone to protect them from the Russians.

The Danish-Prussian war was a nationalistic war. Prussia wanted the Germans of Schleswig and Holstein to be part of Germany. The Danish are no Germans. The war between Austria and Prussia was because of a disagreement about this war. Prussia won, got some parts of German Austria but had to get to an agreement before France and Russia would interfere.

I've read that Bismarck "always knew when to stop." I don't know if that's entirely true - "always" is pretty comprehensive. But sometimes he knew when to stop.

Never even knew there was a war. I better start touching up on my military history because that's all I'm really good at.
