Nathaniel Greene in the Revolutionary War. He tortured poor Cornwallis and it led to the end of the war. Brilliant campaign in the South!

the afghans, but a really good ambusher should also be able to ambush enemy even in unknown territory, so yeah hannibal at lake Trasimene.
