On the side of the Soviets, roughly 620,000 men fought the war. 14,453 got killed and 53,760 were wounded, 49,985 of them in action. As high as 415,932 were sick: 115,308 of infectious hepatitis, 31,08 of typhoid fever and the rest because of miryad of diseases. But, 525,000 men fought in the 40th Army, the rest on other services, and the Army sustained 13,833 deaths.
This means:
Killed, 14,453:
2,33% . Or 2,63% if we look at Army only.
Wounded, 53,760:
8,67%
Sick, 415,932:
67%
Total casualties, 484,145:
78% of all the men in service. Excluding sick men, 68,212 which means
11%
But I reject excluding sick men, they were casualties of the war too.
The 13,833 men of the 40th Army killed were distributed as follow
