A question about the Ottoman conquests

My question is:

if you had to divide the Ottoman conquests into 2 parts. The Ottoman conquests from 1299 to 1402 and the later conquests.

In your opinion which part is more significant? and why ?

Look at Turkey today's borders ( including it's syrian occupation ) and answer your own question
Most of Anatolia had already been in Turkish hands before the Ottomans. The Ottomans conquered Anatolia by subjugating other Turkish states (we often call these states Anatolian beyliks).

Conquest of Egypt and Constantinople are two prestigious conquests. Other than that, I don't think any conquest gave much to Ottomans apart from resources. Their mindset was fixed from get-go about what they wanted.

Nice question. Probably the most common answer could be after 1402, but probably the final victory against the Eastern Roman Empire deceived the Ottomans. The Knights at Malta made Suleiman realize that reality was well tough ...
