Aliens attacked!

[And I don't mean Mexicans]

So ... all these threads about ancient aliens have made me think to a speculative scenario:

aliens attacked the earth in the far past. Let's say in ancient Egyptian age.

Obviously aliens would have conquered this planet.

But ... to do what?

This is the question and the object of this topic: what would have aliens done after conquering this planet in ancient Egyptian age? [A part building the Great Pyramid, which, according to History Channel, had built by aliens for sure].

Now, to develop the topic ...

Commander Isis of the spaceship Duat ordered to her special forces to take over the land along a long and wide river in a desert in the North Eastern part of a wide continent ...

Osiris [the First Officer of the Duat] took land on a shuttle not far from modern Giza.

... to be continued ...

Good question, if aliens have the technology to travel the stars what would they want from earth? Resources?, plenty of asteroids and moons out there, why come all the way to earth? Slaves?, they can't build machines to do basic labor?
Most likely scenario would be settlement, maybe they got exiled from their world and decided earth looked like a good spot to live. Maybe they built early civilizations so they could boss around primitive humans.

At the end, this is the point: if a civilization has got the technology to travel through the interstellar space ... which would be the interest in annoying a native prehistorical population on a far and lonely planet [beyond the star pause of Orion ... who knows Astronomy can understand me here ]?

There are a lot of stars to exploit without disturbing natives ... so why to come here?

That is a good question. I suppose it might depend on the nature of the aliens. If they were incredibly advanced machines, or represented by them here, they might fly in the face of everything Seth Shostak and Hollywood envisions; they could just ignore us, seeing our planet as an interesting stop in their travels, keeping us under surveillance and stopping to regenerate / rebuild / recompile their technologies. If attacked they would respond, but we are probably just not worth it. They would treat us like we treat squirrels, or wild populations we want to preserve. seems to be the situation. It might be an error to assume that the little craft are coming from far away; they could be coming from much larger cloaked craft, or they could have been here all along, perhaps creating life here. They also might NOT be coming from far away, and remain undetected. If you believe that UFOs are a real advanced, non-human technology (and half of you might not), the question remains, what the heck would they want with us??? Then again, if life is relatively rare, we would be interesting, especially if they / it went through a similar time.

With the Egyptians?? Same thing; watch, keep under surveillance; leave probes in oceans --travel around for a few hundred years, and pass back by again.

With any luck, a Farmington or Basel Switzerland event will happen over a major city for a few days; then there would be no doubt.

Why did the French take over the desolate wastes of the Sahara desert? Why did the British take over undeveloped parts of interior Africa? Why did Germany buy the caroline islands from Spain? Why did Portugal take over huge tracts of unpopulated jungle in Brazil?
Answer: Prestige, because they could, to elevate the primitive and in hopes it would have something of value.
Maybe the aliens just want to take over every habitable planet in range so other aliens don't take it.

All simians though, we have a hard time getting into the minds of the ancients, what about an existence that is several million years more advanced?

Show up at distance in the desert at night. When pharaoh sends out chariots and archers, cause the front ranks to lose consciousness until they stop.
Reveal yourself to various influential members of society; the pharaoh, priests, generals, until half the population believes you have arrived --from personal experiences.. a process of gradual revelation.
Kesha saw UFOs at Joshua Tree, influencing new album "Rainbow," she says | The Kansas City Star
That sounds a little TOO familiar to me.....

Soon, there will be less fear and finally even exhaustion at the word "aliens" when the tipping point is reached, perhaps more contact; if life is precious enough, it might be worth guiding us through dangerous times.
