Hey just Curious what everyone's thoughts were on How Ancient Greece's Architecture helped to begin their civilization or Perpetuate it through time.

To ''begin'' not much I guess.The architecture was a product of the general turn to arts of the period(classical period)not the opposite.As to perpetuating,parthenon for example is iconic.But I guess what helped actually perpetuate the culture was philosophers and the ancient greek writings,the notion of democracy,alexander the great and all the chain reactions these things created.

Also remember that many magnificent things the ancient greeks build didn't really stand the test of the earthquakes that frequent the area.And that's logical.Not even today do we have absolute knowledge about protection from earthquakes.
