I don't know if CCP will collapse, but I simply do not forsee China ever becoming a superpower rivaling the US. China struggles to get even fellow Confucian nations on board (like SK & Japan) whereas US has managed to ally whole host of nations.
American and Russian still have technological superiority when its is compared to that of Chinese. Chinese can accumulate lots of arms but its unlikely that they going to overtake Americans.

India didn't shoot down any Pakistani F-16. It is a face saving fantasy created by the Hindu extremist BJP party, the same party whose followers also manufacture India's history to fit their other fantasies. It is a party of fantasy, of la-la land (out of touch with reality).
Just came across this thing an hour ago.

The US is dumping cold water on India's claim it shot down a Pakistani F-16

Now looks like the only thing that has been shot down is the Indian claim of a shootdown.;)
We are still wondering who was that second pilot Pakistan captured who was undergoing treatment in Pakistani hospital.

Quote, "The first casualty in war is truth" Attributed to Senator Hiram Johnson. He probably was not wrong.
True, in fact one may say in the modern age of propaganda warfare, lying is not just a reality but a necessity. This entire saga is a massive 'He said she said' from both sides, and both sides have not proven anything, Pak has no proof of downed Sukhoi and India has no proof of downed F-16 or hitting targets. That said even though it looks like the strike was a failure, its a good learning experience, more such events should be planned in future till Pak eradicated terrorism from its soil.

Why blame Pakistan for an attack that was planned & conducted, AFAIK, by Kashmiri from within Indian-ruled Kashmir.

Isn't this just scapegoating?
The terror attack was planned and executed by Pakistan and its Army, there are scores of terror camps in Pakistan occupied Kashmir, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and South Punjab of Pakistan. There is no surprise all major neighbours of Pakistan like India, Iran and Afghanistan are annoyed by Pakistan. The militancy in Kashmir was the spillover of Soviet-Afghan war, when Pakistan started to divert battle hardened militants towards India, high in confidence that they defeated a superpower can be defeated in Afghanistan in mere 10 years.

Beside, this the violence is confined to tiny Kashmir valley the larger region of Ladakh and Jammu including the Muslim majority districts has always been peaceful in last 30 years. Its high unlikely Pakistan is going to make any breakthrough in Kashmir.

Seems like there isn't much appreciation at all for Pakistan returning captured Indian pilot quickly. Rather, it more likely kind of telegraphed anxiety & weakness rather than confidence on Pakistan's side. Perhaps Pakistan should not have done that.

Maybe Imran Khan has not had much schooling in military psychology. Someone like Pervez Musharraf would not have released that pilot so fast, I don't think.

Now, looks like another Indian air strike coming up. So much for honest intention & goodwill gesture. Not only it's sometimes not appreciated. Even worse, it could even end up being misinterpreted.

This seems like fake news/psy op from pakistani side. It makes no sense for India to plan any further strikes as of now. At the most we will continue to see border skirmishes, no more than that.

This news looks like some propaganda material. Pakistan has to release Indian pilot not because of some goodwill gesture but the Geneva Convention. Pakistan's economy is facing its worst days now, and its understandable they are just trying to buy some time.
