This news looks like some propaganda material. Pakistan has to release Indian pilot not because of some goodwill gesture but the Geneva Convention. Pakistan's economy is facing its worst days now, and its understandable they are just trying to buy some time.
Why is the Pakistani economy struggling?

Why is the Pakistani economy struggling?
Imran Khan on resuming as Prime Minister
appealed to all expatriate Pakistanis to remit as many US dollars to the homeland as they could, since the trade balance is very much adverse. Pakistan has heavy debts from the international financial institutions to service let alone the huge debt from the PRC. All the USA help has gone into equipping it's Army and on the top the exports are meagre.

It may be that all the F-16 planes supplied by the USA have been accounted for. Pakistan also received a few F-16 planes from Jordan. It is therefore possible that it was one of those F-16 planes that was downed by the Indian wing commander.

Pakistan Finance Minister says that Pakistan's economy was in ICU (Intensive Care Unit) when Imran Khan took over as Prime Minister. They were borrowing money to pay even interest on loans taken in the past. He says that economy has now been brought out of ICU to the Normal Ward. And stabilizing it will take 12-18 months. [1]

He says that Pakistan is facing three key issues which are same as when he was in college 40 years ago. These are: “We are stuck with the fiscal deficit, current account deficit and saving and investment gap.” Still he bravely asserts things will be fine in next 12-18 months. [1]

My Take:
  • Fiscal deficit arises by keeping the currency artificially strong and high expenditure on defence. Defence expenditure gets financed by printing notes and also has a high import content. In Nov 2017 one needed 104 Pakistani Rupees to buy one US Dollar. Today, 16 months later, one need Rs 141; or 35% more Pakistani Rupees to buy a Dollar. [2]
  • Current account deficit comes from imports exceeding exports. Firstly, Pakistan imports oil. Secondly, under the name of open-economy / free-trade, low duties are imposed on other imports (West has fooled Pakistan and India on this one).
  • Not sure about savings & investments gap but may be due to high inflation rates because of which investors feel no rewards is there for saving.

Maybe Pakistan should be more cooperative in Afghanistan if it wants more Western aid.

This seems like fake news/psy op from pakistani side. It makes no sense for India to plan any further strikes as of now. At the most we will continue to see border skirmishes, no more than that.
Oh, but this is just a personal opinion, right? Nobody really knows what is going to happen in April, until April has passed.

Maybe to divert people attention from worsening economic condition in Pakistan, India hatred help them forget problems. Beside, there is election season in India, why would India need hostility at this crucial point of the country.

It is quite possible that Pakistan itself might attack India sometime during the 7 stage long drawn out elections which ends with results coming out on 23rd May onwards
, out of sheer hatred for India for everything it stands for: Democracy, Progress, International Respect. But such attacks ( being based on conventional arms ) will be crushed and Pakistan army will be taught a hard lesson by the Indian Army which will be ready for such an eventuality.
