Of course the way I would end the series is not how they ended.

The way I would have the last episode is that you see a much older grey-haired Silver in a Tavern with a ten-year-old boy.

They boy says to him, "That is a wonderful story, see you tomorrow."

Silver replies, "See you tomorrow, Master Jim Hawkins."

Fade out onto the treasure map and the credits.

'Lost' the show mid way through season 2 (I have three teenagers in the house plus the 'Boss' so I am low done the priority list for the TV).

But got a box set of all four series for my birthday so I am going the 'binge watch' from the beginning.

I like the way it ended. Both the way that Flint disappears from history and the way it ties into Treasure Island.

I binge-watched it and thoroughly enjoyed it.
