Book recommendation

Dec 2017
I'm looking for a basic but good book about the history of Europe from the 15th to the 18th centuries. Say from the age of exploration to the French Revolution. Covering the age of exploration, mercantilism and colonization, religious conflict and everything else that shaped the continent in those centuries.

In case you didn't know, the period you're interested in (or what it looks like you're interested in) is called early modern Europe.

For some good surveys of this period you can check out:
Blanning, T. C. W. The Oxford Illustrated History of Modern Europe (2001)
Cameron, Euan. Early Modern Europe: An Oxford History (2001)
Kümin, Beat. "The European World 1500-1800." An Introduction to Early Modern History (2009)
Wiesner, Merry E. Early Modern Europe, 1450–1789 (Cambridge History of Europe) (2006) (this one is expensive)

If you're really interested, F. Braudel's Civilization and Capitalism in 3 vols. It seems that the first volume is available here.
