yummy , when you feel masochistic enough you can dive into the Newton Leibnitz controversy
that was a major slapping match
back from St petersburg at a diner Euler was asked what Russians thought
he answered " in Russia they hang those who think "

Haha I'm slowly getting to the Newton-Leibniz controversy. In my most recent video on the Bernoullis', I touch upon it ever so slightly :p

Regarding the St. Petersburg quote, that's hilarious! It's interesting, given that mindset, that he ended up going back there in 1766. 25 years away can make all the difference, especially if you're being neg'd by Frederick of Prussia for a lot of it!
