Do you believe that the Catholic Church's prohibition of contraceptives is the Church's way to produce a lot of poor people so that its power can always be maintained?

because it is proven that natural method of family planning is not very effective after all.

They simply want to survive. People who don't produce children have no future. Western civilization will dissapear. if people will not start getting more children. Contraception doesn't help to get more children, so... Having no children or one child is nice for individual, you can live better, but it is death for society.

No, I don't believe that. The position against contraceptives dates back to early Church, and seems to be more theological in its origins:

In short, sex for pleasure = bad, sex for love = OK, sex for procreation = best and should be striven for. Hence, artificial contraceptives are bad.

As previously stated, it's most a theological thing with the whole "Go forth and multiply" maxim that's been pushed for a couple thousand years, and the idea that sex without the intent to have children isn't within God's plan.

That said this sort of thing makes me heavily dislike missionary work in places like Latin America and Africa where access and information about contraceptives, family planning, and STD/Is are scarce. If you think sex should just be for children, that's fine, but for heaven's sake don't make it into a feasible platform to address some of the issues in poverty.

And what would be your solution to this that wouldn't remove agency or bodily autonomy from people? Also part of the reason why the West has a higher standard of living is due to contraceptives.

because it prevents unwanted pregnancies and more children that will bring men to poverty.

It is a theological prohibition rather than some plot to increase the number of Catholics and keep them in thrall, however as amateur historian has pointed out, it has had a very negative effect, especially in developing countries.
