Common Origin of Slavic Nations

What do you think about this video, is it historically accurate?:

"Around the year 600, Slavic-speaking peoples rapidly expanded from their original homelands, colonizing all areas from present-day Eastern Germany to Northern Greece to Western Russia."

Archaeologists and natural history forensic specialists (tree rings et al) have disputed the "why" for the crisis of the middle of the sixth century in all Mediterranean civilization. However, the sixth century crisis of agriculture made the Slavs' presumed expertise at slash-and-burn agriculture a reason for the advancement of the Slavic culture.

I haven't yet looked at the video. And I don't have much optimism that it is well researched.
