dose any chinese source of the description of the north african maghreb region (or even egypt) exist ?

especially if they are from late antiquity or middle age/others periods after middle age

Never heard of that- there are some Chinese mentions of Africa- mostly the eastern horn and probably Egypt talking about deserts but very vague descriptions past Arabia and Persia which are mentioned in several sources. There is quite a bit of Chinese records and new scholarship might find something which would be interesting but not much came from the Maghreb that China would know of- most exports went to Europe, other places in Africa, or occasionally the Levant.
