Earliest historical Greek?

Much like Iry-Hor is considered the earliest historical ruler of Egypt, and possibly the earliest-living historical person known by name, who is his Greek counter-part?

You first have to define "Greek".
Let's say from Athens and Sparta. I imagine those are the places where you're most likely to find the answer.

I assume there is no historically attested individual from the Mycenaean era, so perhaps the 8th or 9th century BC is the searching place in time?

You might consult the Hittite and Linear B corpora. I'm not sure if names of specific rulers have been identified but some Hittite records appear to refer to the Mycenaeans (Greek-speaking ancestors of the populace of Classical Greece) and the Linear B corpus comprises their own written records. Of course, that assumes you view the Mycenaeans as Greeks.
