Economy of the Germanic People (Germania) in the 4th and 5th century

As a history student in Belgium, I have to make a paper about the economy/trade of the Germanic peoples/tribes (Germania) in the 4th and 5th Century. One aspect of this paper is to find relevant websites on the internet about this subject. After a lot of search work, I still have difficulties to find a good, relevant and ‘professional’ website. I hope someone can help by giving me a hint or maybe a link to a website.

I don't know much about online sources, but I've always liked Heaton's Economic History of Europe although the section on this particular subject is only about a dozen pages or so. It's definately quite dated but as far as I know, there haven't been any signifigant changes (I could be terribly wrong though!)
