Hey everyone, new member here, name's DPikeman, I studied history in secondary school (or high school I suppose), I now pursue it as a hobby though

Could anyone recommend any books that cover social and economic history of Europe in the 70s-2000 period? or anything regarding generational cycles? I'm grasping at straws here, I have only recently rediscovered my passion for history and study of human interaction.

I would strongly recommend The Lost Airman. I am reading it at the moment it is a very well written book and it's a true story about Arthur Meyerowitz a bomber engineer who is shot down over nazi-occupied france and through the help of the resistance escapes.
