Please, tell me, how to interpret the history:
  • of France in France under Jacobins
  • of Germany and Austria in Third Reich
  • of Italy* in Fascist Italy
  • of Poland** in Communist Poland (before 1980!)
  • of China in the Chinese Cultural Revolution
*Ancient Rome; Italy in 476 - 1815
**Polish-Cossacks wars; Poland in 1795 - 1830 (except November Uprising)

We can't tell you how to interpret history. That is left up to you. If you are looking for a book on historiography, Eric Foner's Who owns History is a classic. I might have one or two more on my shelf but they are at school. I won't be back there until Monday.

Thanks for the books, but it's all not true!

I do not need a theory of historiography!!

I need learn how to interpret aforesaid developments and the book where an example of this interpretation.

For example, how interpreted by the Risorgimento in Fascist Italy?
The answer how interpreted and suggest me book with an example of interpretation (f. ex. Gioacchino Volpe - L'Italia moderna).
