United States
In the 1860s after the incident with the French and the General Sherman incident the Koreans developed soft-bulletproof armor known as myonje paegap. It consisted of 13 layers of cotton and was actually pretty successful but was very hot to wear in summer and caught fire easily.

The Americans commented on it during their expedition in 1871 and brought back a coat with them.

I saw it in the museum, and it looked very hot to wear. :)

A Study on KPG, which is a big part of modern Korean history

The KPG was the Provisional Government of Korea, which had been in existence for 27 years from 1919-1945.
In South Korea, the KPG is usually divided into three periods -- 1919-1932, 1932-1940 and 1940-1945.

The first period is when the KPG was in Shanghai, the second when it moved to avoid Japanese troops, and the third when it was in Chongqing.

There are a lot of stories, but let me just tell you a few things.

In the 1940s, the KPG Congress was made up of a multi-party system that had the Anakist Party and the Socialist Self-Party. And these minutes remain on record.

And if you are interested in the Korean War, I recommend the documentaries of Kbs, which was released in 2010.

It's the best documentary on the Korean War.

Do you know Choi Jae Hyung?
He is a great man who amassed wealth and respect in Russia, a country that he moved as a refugee as a child, then gave it all away for Korea's independence movement including his life.
I recommend you to watch this video (ENG SUB Available) on Choi Jae Hyung as well.
He was appointed as the first Minister of Finance of the Provisional Government of the Republic of Korea in Shanghai in 1919, yet declined the role citing his old age.

I know Choi Jae Hyung. but But I'm more interested in various independence organizations and events than he is, so I don't know much about him.
