That is very interesting. Zahi is working with that Italian group as far as I know. He recently stated they were on the verge of finding a tomb.

"Prominent Egyptologist and former Minister of Antiquities Zahi Hawass told leading UK news outlet Express.co.uk that he hopes to discover the location of Queen Nefertiti’s tomb in “a matter of weeks.”

If that tomb target matches Tut's as stated it may be an Amarna related burial. It may also have been sealed under a mud flow as his was. This may be an interesting season.

Could Tut's tomb have been connected to these chambers / tomb and then the passage filled with rubble and sealed behind that mural in Tut's tomb?
