Archaeologists should look for those areas where the ice is on retreat. They could benefit from the warming of the arctic. Perhaps leading to a lot of better inbsights in the past.

As for I know, during the Bronze Age, the White Sea knew a brief period of not so cold climate in winter. This allowed the development of local stable settlements [summers are quite warm there, anyway]. Archaeologists have found in the area objects from the Ananino people [I remember to have read something about the work of Zhul'nikov in the region].
