Morality of Eugenics?

Everyone knows that during the holocaust, Hitler attempted to eliminate the Jews (and other minorities). We know he did this because he felt the Jews had no regard for human life, and were purely out for themselves. Of course, he was wrong.

However, we know of a category of people today with traits similar to how Hitler viewed the Jews. Psychopaths likely make up much of our wealthiest citizens, and therefore, our ruling class. They probably don't run a world-wide conspiracy, but they do control much of the world's wealth and have complete, or near-complete, disregard for human life.

We now have the scientific ability via brain-scans and psychologists to identify those with psychopathic tendencies with a high degree of accuracy. We also have the means to prevent sexual reproduction with more humane means than killing.

Do you feel that we should perform some sort of eugenics on people identified as psychopaths? What form should it take? Should we at least try to identify as many potential sociopaths as possible? Should this information be made public?

Until said psychopath has committed a crime, I see no reason they or any other person should be subject to the government interfering in their lives.

And the government should never have any say in who gets to procreate and who doesn't. Nor should any tests or scans be conducted on people who haven't given consent.

First prove that psychopathic tendencies are inherited. If they are not, then what is the point of this argument?

This is merely a personal opinion of yours, there is no scientific basis for the claim

A brain scan does not have any ability to identify psychopaths.

No.
