Their religion bans it but numerous ethnicities that are overly identifiable as Muslim have stromg customs of male male homosexuality, sometimes covert, sometimes blatant. For many, the cultural trend either pre-dated Islam, or in some cases was made worse by Islamic strictness in terms of access of males to women for premarital or casual sex.
In some societies that treat women as property it's less dangerous to have sex with a man's son than with his daughter.

Keep in mind that this thread is in the chamber: discuss the matter avoiding direct personal confrontations.

Coming to the object of the debate, Islam has got the same roots as Judaism and Christianity [Islam, Judaism and Christianity share the "Torah", even if in Muslim environments you can hear that in the Koran the Jewish Torah has mentioned more correctly, like for the Christian Gospel ... substantially in the Koran it's written that the authors of the Christian Gospels had in some way misleaded about details]. This means that about homosexuality, if we think to religious individuals, Muslims, Christians and Jews are "on the same boat".

And how it happened in the Ottoman Empire [or in other Muslim contexts] also in Jewish and Christian environments, in recent times, we have been observing a kind of reform which have made homosexuality less "detestable" [as we read in the Book of Leviticus].

Note that the Bible indicates the death penalty as punishment for homosexual acts. A curiosity is that the Bible doesn't mention lesbianism, but [by analogy] traditional Jews, Christians and Muslims consider it as male homosexuality.

Anyway today, our societies are well more lay and also religious communities are changing towards a well more lay approach to sexuality [ethero and homo]. This is why today the situation is well more fluid also within the religious communities.

There is no "custom" or "culture" of male male homosexuality among Muslim ethnicities. Its a vice like prostitution or gambling in Muslim world. Its Americans who accept homosexuality as part of their culture and argue that its not a perversion. Not only they accept it as part of their culture but they are promoting it world wide.

i thought you guys only thought muslims had sex with donkeys or camels for being restricted to females before marriages, homosexuality as a kind of perversion in reaction to pre marital sex is something new to be honest.
