Operation Iraqi Freedom- 15 years on

This month will see the 15th anniversary of "Operation Iraqi Freedom" in March 2003. Designed to topple Saddam Hussein and promote "regime change", it succeeded in doing the former but as for the latter, well the term of "the law of unintended consequences" seems to apply(as warned at the time by latter day Cassandras).
Amongst said"unintended consequences" were Iraq rather than Afghanistan become jihadi central, the rise (and thankful fall) of an even more extreme version of Al Qaeda in the shape of IS/ISIS/Daesh.
All in all, it hard not to agree with Michael Scheuer, former chief of the CIA's anti-Bin Laden desk that it amounted to the least justifiable war America has fought since the Mexican-US war of 1848.

Anybody think as I do?
