There exist many monolingual and a few bilingual Ottoman Turkish dictionaries.

many are listed here
İnternet Ortamında Osmanlı Türkçesi Kaynakları
some of the classic books are available online in pdf and their links are also found there.

By default if i have the time i prefer to use the paperback dictionaries (Şemseddin Sami's Kamus-ı Türki and Mehmet Doğan's Büyük Türkçe Sözlük could so far help me out in most of the cases, the latter is not an Ottoman dictionary, but includes also many Ottoman Turkish words), however what are the best searchable online Ottoman dictionaries?

I often use this one
Büyük Osmanlıca Sözlük

and this is a very good project for a more comfortable use of the classic dictionaries, both for the monolingual ones and Arabic/English/German/French-Ottoman dictionaries

Osmanlıca Sözlükler

do you know other better online ones?

Unfortunately I was in serious lack of time during last months (and that is probably not going to change anytime soon), so I didn't make any serious work and therefore I was unable to contribute to this thread. Anyways, thank you Tulun for these contributions.

As for the sources, no, I was using Redhouse ones as the principal sources for learning.

(particularily on my post about dictionaries, i didn't add Steingass' Comprehensive Persian-English Dictionary, i didn't know it has an online version too, but here it is: it is also very good and handy for Ottoman texts
A Comprehensive Persian-English Dictionary, Including the Arabic Words and Phrases to be Met with in Persian Literature.

from the same site a good recent (2015 september) bibliography of all works and studies on Evliya Çelebi
