Career Guidance Paleography/Textual Criticism jobs

I am an undergraduate (just finished freshman year) and I'm planning on getting a degree in history/classics. I also really love Latin paleography, from the one semester I've spent studying it. I could see myself happily working in paleography, textual criticism, and paper conservation. It's not super important to know yet, since I'm so early in my education, but I'm exploring career options. What kind of jobs (if they exist) let you work in paleography and textual criticism? Can you do any of them with a background in classics, rather than medieval history?

Anyone have experience/thoughts?
