Poll: Are large countries nations?

technically, or at least in human geography discourse a "Nation" is a reserved label for closed countries that are dominated by a single nationality or broad ethnicity e.g. Japan

Since pro-colonialism and into modern globalism we are hard pressed to find many true nations anymore, so the term has been applied more liberally

There haven't been many ethnically homogenous nation-states in hisotry. Rome wasn't, and the Chinese dynasties weren't. The notion that countries are solely based on ethnic lines is a myth.
