I know that this topic isn't historically significant in the slightest, but can we come up with really short place names that existed in history?

I'll start with:
  1. E, in what is now Hu-pei (Hubei)
  2. Y, in France

Heliopolis

The ancient [very ancient] Egyptian city of "iwnw" [probably it sounded Iunu, someone prefers Annu] was known as "On" in the Hebrew tradition.

In Italy there is something: I personally know the town of "Lu", near Alessandria, here in Piedmont.
