Should teenagers be allowed to get sex change?

Raises a good point here as to where you draw the line for what a non adult can or can't do.

If a child can get a sex-change. then it stands to reason that they should be able to get plastic surgery. After all, these two are pretty much the same in many aspects - arguably plastic surgery is a lot more simple. So really, you should say that plastic surgery should be allowed before a child can get a sex-change.

Then, if they can get plastic surgery, than what else can there do?

Interesting conundrum as to where you draw that arbirtrary line in the sand that says: "No, you can't do anything beyond that line until you are at least..... *rolls dice*.... 18."
In supermodel world, these gorgeous girls are scouted out at 13-14, and by 18, they go through many plastic surgeries already. The whole industry runs on it. One of our most famous political celebrity kids had several plastic surgeries before 18.

If they are allowed to, why withhold it from others?

Social pressure

Sheeple are told they have to be "understanding" and "accepting" of certain flavor of the month causes. This is one of them, one of the big ones. The more popularity it gains, naturally, the more followers it attracts, who fully embrace it to the point certain adults who have the misfortune to be parents think they are winning at life having a child who is trans, in some form of virtue signaling Munchausen By Proxy, who don't just fully accept when their immature and not fully developed child tells them they see themselves as a dinosaur robot vampire individual trapped in the body of the wrong sex, they actually encourage it. Not just parents, society as a whole. And they don't just want a few, they want a lot, because the more the merrier, the more that come out the more they can show acceptance to show because they accept it and cheer that they are great people!

In a year or two, it'll be replaced by something else that tops the billboard, which will no doubt be even more extreme, as extreme gets clicks and makes money and gets blood pumping.
It's become utterly ridiculous now. People saying you can identify as a women while having a penis and impregnating other women, you can basicaly change your gender every 5 minutes and make up noexsistant pronouns and everyone must accept this etc. How can anyone take such people serious? People who genuinely are transgender often don't like having that much attention and a lot of them don't agree with the words that being put in their mouth by some vocal activists, who think they have the right to speak for the whole community, which is very heterogenous and doesn't have united views on many matters. Transgender people often aren't the most stabile and have very disproportionately higher suicide rates than the normal population. These rates don't decrease after an operative sex change. I don't agree with putting such people in leading roles of high risk jobs like the army. Not to mention that until quite recently gender disphoria was considered a psychological problem.

It is also fascinating that this "problem" of sex and gender not being the same thing (there is so much correlation between the two that it is save to say that they are the same) is exported to other languages where you don't even have two words for it, like in English. How many genders are there supposed to be? Where can I see them? Why don't animals have a bazillion different genders?

And even if you make a sex change, you still aren't the desired sex. Your cells still have the cromosomes of your previous sex. A transgender woman can't bear children and transgender men can't produce sperm.

Then they criticise heterosexual men for refusing to date transgender women ...

I suspect some people aren't sincere when they say they identify as the oposite sex, but only do it because they long for attention, which they otherwise can't get.

So do I think teenagers or children should be allowed to make decissions about changing their sex? No.

Progressivism is a religion now, there is no better way to describe it. An ethos and ideology, with its own dogma, and blasphemy is not allowed.

So we'll see more of this, much more. It doesn't matter if its confusing or seemingly insane. What matters is the religious believe it wholeheartedly and are willing to do whatever is necessary to stop others from denying the "truth" of it. Right now, its just bullying or Doxxing or being fined heavily in various countries, like Canada, etc. Soon it'll be jail time. And in time, it'll be a death sentence.

So getting a nose job is the same as getting sexual reassignment surgery? LOL. I can't tell if sarcasm.

I knew a man who became a woman, in a sort of way that proved wholly unsatisfactory to her; she constantly talked of killing herself, in a way that made me very worried that she would kill other people in the process, and she finally did so last year, fortunately without causing any collateral damage. She was unhappy in herself and thus very often spiteful toward other people (although not toward me for some reason, I think I must have been just about the only person to whom she would talk honestly without creating scenes or putting on an act). One has to recognize reality, I think, and accept that many such people are mentally disturbed, and that this is not simply a matter of all of us being placed at different points on a spectrum. To encourage such thoughts in children rather than lovingly restrain or at least manage them seems to me to be a form of child abuse.

Trans people have an extremely high suicide rate, before and after transitioning. But remember, its not a disorder, not mental illness, not anymore.

BTW, how many of these girls from modeling agencies also work as escorts, especially in poor countries such as Moldova?

The fact that they work as escorts does not say anything bad to me about the women. It says a lot about the crime world and pimps using them.

When I wrote about modeling agencies, I was thinking about Gizela Bundchen and Adriana Lima, and also women from certain political families.

But since we slid into the escort theme, I hate human trafficking and the pimps, who all belong behind bars, but I also believe prostitution has to be decriminalized. Decriminalization is the only way to protect the women who were pushed into it, for whatever reasons (mostly, economical, or social).
