I'm working on a podcast episode on Simon Bolivar and I'm looking for reference materials. I would love to know people's favorite information sources on him.

Also, I'm interested in opinions on things I definitely should not skip over in regards to his life/character.

thanks!

You can find something in:

1. H. Herring, A History of Latin America. From the Beginnings to the Present, New York 1961.
2. The Cambridge Modern History, Volume IX: War and Peace in an Age of Upheaval, ed. C. W. Crawley, Cambridge 1965.

Do you read Spanish? Those are the only books I find worth while.
