Hello dear specialists.Did the latino soldiers had the right to engage in the US army during the WW1 and WW2 ? Thank you.
You are refering to Latino-Americans living in the USA? (Maybe this should be in the North American sub-forum, sin the USA are in North America).

Or Latino-Americans sollely from South America?

Or Latinos in general from all America and Europe?

Latino's in the USA did join the armed forces during most if not all of the USA's wars, including World War I and World War II. Segregation of the United States armed forces until the second world war did not affect Latino's/Hispanic soldiers they were drafted and signed up like any other soldier at the time if that is your question. Latino's from south america joined several armed forces during both world wars (in their hundreds and thousands) usually for the country of their parents, grandparents etc.
Here is a list of Medal of Honor recipients of Hispanic background as a token of their soldiering: List of Hispanic Medal of Honor recipients - Wikipedia

During WW1 Mexican-American relations were cool due to the Mexican Revolution, The Vera Cruz incident, Villas raid on Columbus Texas, the Zimmerman Telegram and the US Punitive Expedition.

Mexico was one of the few countries that officially recognized the Spanish Republic.

Mexico declared war on the Axis powers in May 1942 after U-boats sank several Mexican flag vessels. In addition to anti-submarine patrols along its coasts, the Mexican Expeditionary Air Force (MEAF) was deployed to the Southwest Pacific Area in May 1945 (Manila). The operational element of the MEAF was the 201st Fighter Squadron.

There was also a mexican company in the international s brigades (spanish war 36-39).
Some Spanish also fought there. Let us recall that in Spanish “Latino” means “Perteneciente o relativo a los pueblos que hablan lenguas derivadas del latín.”/“Pertaining to or relating to the peoples who speak languages derived from Latin.”

If I recall correctly most of the countries recognized the Spanish Republic in 1931. Mexico was one of the few that supported the republic during the civil war, together with the Soviet Union.

But I didn’t knew of the MEAF. Thanks!

As word Latino means Nothing.. It is not a race, not an Ethnicity.. a culture.. NOTHING.. but a word invented by a French Loser.... that it was crushed by Prussians in SEDAN....it is hard to say... what kind of "Latino" was in US Army?

The only latino I know it is the general Pierre Gustave Toutant de Beauregard... a Latino General fought in US Army and later in CSA Army.

His name was "Toutant-Beauregard":Toutant, name of his father, slave liberated,Beauregard name of a french business man who had adopted him. There was no black men or jews in the old french aristocracy because it was forbidden to marry with a woman who had no french and catholic origines. The tolerance for the protestants makes that they could marry-for the period of interdiction 1685-1787 in the foreign ambassades, and Orange,or in front of the notary, the protestant cult having "officially" disappeared.
